Our Team

Dr. Schoeffmann brings a depth of knowledge in curriculum and instruction to Orrington Elementary! Her most recent role was as Assistant Superintendent of Instruction and Director of Curriculum & Instruction at River Forest School District 90. Dr. Schoeffmann is thrilled to return to her true passion as a building leader, where she finds great joy in building connections with educators, students, and school communities. 

She earned her doctorate degree at National Louis University and two masters degrees at Bank Street College of Graduate Education in New York. Before earning these degrees, though, Dr. Schoeffmann’s education began in District 65! As a proud Evanstonian, she attended Willard, King Arts, and ETHS. She remains very vested in the community, including six years with the ETHS Foundation and time supporting Evanston Scholars and The TED Fund. She also served on the D65 community-based committee in support of the 2017 referendum. Dr. Schoeffmann is an avid runner, loves playing tennis, and has been in the same book club since 2003.
